We are located at the north-east part of the City of Antigua, once the XVI century colonial Capital of Guatemala, opposite from the "Agua" volcano and on the way to "Cerro de la Cruz". Surrounded by mountains, volcanoes, a rich soil, a splendid climate and a superb landscape, all combined to make our center the right place for , your retreats, conferences, meetings, workshops, and your stay during or after your volunteer or mission trips.

Since 1950's, the property where the Lutheran Center is located, has been owned by the Lutheran Church in Guatemala. It first served as home of the "Christ the Great Physician" Lutheran Church and the Santa Rosa Hospital.
In 1960, it became "The Lutheran Center" and housed the Lutheran Hour Radio ministries and the new congregation "La Resurrection".
During 1970 served all the Lutheran congregations and groups for religious retreats, bible studies and worship services. Today the retreat center expanded its services by including the accomodations of missionary families servig with the Lutheran Bible Translators and hosting organizations which promote human well being and social development.
